John D. Clayton founded Clayton Wahl Marketing, LLC and CWM, LLC in 2008 in Los Angeles. John brought 20 years of global advertising agency experience to this role, as well as years of Predictive Analytics expertise. Managing partners John Clayton and Dan Otto are the team leaders for Clayton Wahl Marketing's analytics consulting practice.
John Clayton is an MBA graduate, with honors, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he began his study of econometrics in the 1980s. From a career that began in database marketing for CRM & loyalty programs at Continental Airlines & United Airlines, John grew the width and depth of his experience by spending 5 years doing Predictive Analytics (Media Mix Modeling, ROI analyses, etc.) as a partner at MarketShare Partners (now Neustar). John continued for another seven years in a senior management role in Advanced Analytics for Accenture.

Partner & Chief Scientist
Dan has extensive experience in business, science, computers and engineering. He began his career in the aerospace industry and is a bonafide "rocket scientist." Dan has designed and developed comprehensive computer models and systems to assist firms in becoming more efficient and profitable in areas such as marketing, customer lifetime value, resource optimization, financial analysis, work flow and capacity, operations assessment, growth analysis, bonus distribution and compensation formulas. He has compiled this broad technical and business expertise into marketing econometrics and media mix optimizations. The most complex of this was a 1000 decision variable media mix optimization maximizing Customer Lifetime Value.He has organized and managed project teams in many disciplines including engineering, finance, human resources, information technology and client relations. He has also program and project managed multi-million dollar budgets.
Dan received an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and two BS degrees in chemical engineering and biochemistry from North Carolina State University.

Rock has 5 years of recent experience in building databases and creating data-based marketing & lead-generation programs, including By Invitation Only. He is also a subject matter expert in social media marketing. Rock volunteers for the American Marketing Association's Rochester NY chapter. In his spare time, he also umpires for Fairport Little League Inc. for the past 12 years. He received his B.A. in Marketing from SUNY Brockport.
